January in review

This will be my last update before my self-imposed deadline. Once this post is submitted, I will have updated this blog 29 times during the month of January. That's missing the 1 post/day mark by only two posts, and during crunch time, I think that's pretty impressive.

It's been a troublesome month, with crunch time on this project causing all kinds of trouble I would rather not have to deal with. Being tired all the time, eating crunch food a lot, gout flare-ups, the palsy, relationship issues, having to miss rehearsals, trying to find a venue for Pure Spec, and trying to maintain some semblance of a social life. As I told a co-worker on the long, cold walk to the bus stop, so far it's been a challenging and stressful year, but unlike the past couple of years, I've been able to stay somewhat positive and see this as a temporary obstacle to eventual relaxation and happiness.

I won't be updating as often in February, but I will still update way more often than I have been in past months. I will also be able to drink iced tea and lemonade again, which will be welcome. So here's to an eventful January, and to a warmer, healthier, happier rest of 2011..
